Throughout his career, Adolfo Barabino has received significant recognitions and honors reflecting his artistic merit, international standing, and contribution to musical culture.

• Steinway Artist (2003)
  In 2003, Barabino was officially designated a Steinway Artist, an exclusive title granted by Steinway & Sons to pianists of exceptional artistic stature.
  His portrait is displayed at the Steinway & Sons headquarters in London, alongside leading pianists of the past and present.
• Freedom of the City of London (2013)
  In 2013, Adolfo Barabino was awarded the Freedom of the City of London, a historic honor conferred in recognition of outstanding artistic achievement and contribution to cultural life.
  The distinction has previously been bestowed upon internationally renowned figures, including tenor Luciano Pavarotti.
• Grammy Award Nomination (Recording)
  A recording of Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in F minor, Op. 21 with the London Symphony Orchestra received a nomination for a Grammy Award, marking an important international recognition of his recorded work.

• First Absolute Prize – International Piano Competition “Città di Stresa” (1980)
  At the age of fifteen, Barabino was awarded First Absolute Prize at the International Piano Competition “Città di Stresa”, confirming his early emergence as a pianist of exceptional promise.
• Winner – European Selection “Winners & Masters”, Munich
  Barabino won the European Selection “Winners & Masters” in Munich, a competition open exclusively to winners of international piano competitions. This distinction played a decisive role in opening the doors to major European concert halls.

• Jury Member – Concours International de Piano Nice Côte d’Azur (since 2019)
  Since 2019, Adolfo Barabino has served as a member of the jury of the Concours International de Piano Nice Côte d’Azur, contributing to the evaluation and mentorship of emerging pianists at an international level.
• President of the Jury – Steinway & Sons Piano Competition (Italy, 2023)
  In 2023, he was appointed President of the Jury for the Italian final of the Steinway & Sons Piano Competition in Verona.
